Reinventing the technology of human accomplishment is part and parcel of human evolution.
The practice of quality has traveled a long evolutionary path, from quality through pride, to quality by inspection, to quality assurance, quality by prevention, perfect quality, and perhaps quality of creation. All these are features of reinventing the technology of human accomplishment. It is part of human evolution. Change is inevitable, just as it is inevitable to re-define or reinvent total quality management or TQM.
